TAYLOR LEDDEN is a fifth-generation Canadian born in Quebec and raised in Ontario. After retiring as a technical writer, Taylor became re-acquainted with woodturning. This was triggered in part by the gift of an old, hand-made lathe, and in part by a long-standing love for unusual Canadian woods. These woods include lilac (beautiful purple grain), birdseye maple, curly maple, Manitoba maple, British Columbia yellow cedar burl, black cherry, black walnut, etc. He occasionally uses exotic woods such as rosewood, cocobolo, ebony, etc.
