Born 1961 – Raised in Scarborough climbing trees and swimming in ravine – Parents Catholic – Dad Insurance Agent – Mom stayed home - 3 brothers - Many dogs – Took many photos and home movies – Had to be home when the street lights came on.
1980: Highschool Diploma
1981: Year abroad, pretend to learn French in France, hitchhiked through Europe. Take camera as gift from Dad.
1982: Waitressed in Toronto while apprenticing in Toronto Photo studios. Part-time film and photo studies, Ryerson and Annex Learning
1983: More hitchhiking in Europe. More photos with Dad’s camera.
1982-89: Open studio in Liberty Village. Shoot weddings, product, model testing. Film Production Stills with Roger Corman in Los Angeles. Visit Australia and Indonesia with camera.
1989: Start having kids. Keep having kids.
1995: Stop having kids. Total 3 Girls. Many photos. Complete Chaos.
1998: Go digital.
2000: Go back to College. Become licensed Optician. Start dispensing. Hate dispensing. Keep shooting. Start teaching Opticianry at Georgian College. Like teaching.
2006: Birthday gift Goof Proof camera has stitch assist. Discover world of Panorama Photographers online. Chat with nerds in forums all over the world. Learn how to shoot and stitch an Equirectangular Spherical Panorama.
2007 Open a studio in Creemore. Can’t concentrate in studio due to social life in village. Seriously.
2009: Close studio in Creemore. Develop and release a commercial photography website. Join the Mad+Noisy Gallery - Live happily ever after.
