JULIET JANCSO

BRONZE/CLAY/PORCELAIN & OIL PAINTING

Juliet works in bronze, clay, fibreglass, and ciment fondu.  She has taught life sculpture for many years at the Dundas Valley School of Art, and at the Burlington Art Centre where she has also taught painting and drawing.  She has decided now to devote herself entirely to her own sculpture and is only teaching the occasional course.   She has enjoyed a great deal of success with her portrait sculpture and her increasing number of commissions has encouraged her to continue this line of work in the future.  Her recent portrait in bronze of donor Michael G. DeGroote for McMaster University can be seen in the Atrium of the Michael G. DeGroote Centre for Learning and Discovery.
